Frequently Asked Questions
How should I prepare for my massage and how fully should I undress?
This is a common question, especially for clients who are new to getting massages. The answer is pretty simple, you should do what will make you the most comfortable, both in preparation and undressing for your massage. It is not necessary to shave or wash your hair prior to a massage, unless you feel like you want to. You will always be appropriately draped with a sheet for modesty throughout your session. However, you may keep on any garment you wish to help you feel comfortable. While we recommend that clothing be removed for the optimal experience, you can receive massage fully clothed if that is your preference. Please always remember that we are a judgement free space. Often it is when we are not at our best emotionally or physically that we need a massage and energy work session the most.

What is your cancellation policy?
24 hours notice is required for all cancelations. The session fee will be due in full for all non-emergency cancelations occurring with less than 24 hours notice prior to the time of the appointment.
What can I expect when I arrive for my appointment?
Upon your arrival you will be given time to use the bathroom and then we will do a check in on any concerns or goals you have for your session. For first time guests there will be a complimentary 20 minute "get to know you" consultation, where we will review your medical intake form, discuss issues that you would like help with and then prepare you energetically to receive your massage by doing breathing exercises and a relaxing guided meditation. You will then be shown where to store your clothes and how to situate yourself on the table and finally your therapist will leave the room so you can privately undress and get covered with a sheet and blanket on the massage table.
